NFL sponsorship revenues reach $1.62 billion in 2021, an increase of 86% since 2010

As by far the most popular sport in terms of TV viewership in the United States, the NFL has always been one of the most attractive sports properties for marketers and continues to show consistent growth in sponsorship income.

Total NFL revenues from sponsorship activities have increased 5.8% per year on average since 2010, rising to $1.62bn in 2021, nearly double the $870m of revenues in 2010.

2020 was the anomaly with an increase of only $11m (0.8%), however, this was almost fully compensated by growth of $150m (10.2%) in 2021.
