Close to $7 billion in stadium projects planned for sports across the United States

Sports clubs in the United States are embarking on a huge stadium building spree, with close to $7bn of investment confirmed. Over $2.3bn will be spent in California alone as the LA Clippers begin a $1.8bn development on the Intuit Dome.

Most active is the MLS with six new stadium projects, as the rapid growth of men’s soccer continues. Inter Miami’s project is biggest of these investments with an estimated cost of $1bn. A stadium development project is also underway for the Utah Warriors of Major League Rugby, a the first professional US rugby league founded in 2018.
